What if I do not have a degree in any of fields mentioned above?

First and foremost, the applicant must have a four-year full-time bachelor's degree or a five-year post-graduate degree after completing grade twelve. This is a minimum requirement of BITS which cannot be relaxed. For example, a three-year B.Sc. or B.A. degree program followed by a one-year post-graduate diploma would not count as a valid input requirement for the M.S. program.

If you meet the above degree credentials, but your field of study is not among the most relevant fields, then you may send us your detailed CV. After receipt, we will advise you of your eligibility to apply for admission.

Besides personal data (Name, age, address, contact info etc.), your CV should also include the following information:

a) Educational qualifications (beyond grade 12) : 

• Name of the University, 

• Degree awarded, 

• Total duration of the program,

• Full-time, part-time or correspondence,

• Medium of instruction,

• Year-wise major subjects studied and percentage scored for the same.

b) Dissertations / Special projects done.

c) Relevant Work experience: 

• Name of the employer, 

• Job description,

• Total number of months employed,

• Full-time or part-time

     [If self-employed then Job description and duration.]

d) Any other relevant information that you may wish to add.
